Opposition Coalition Will Scatter In Six Months – Bwala

440

The Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Policy Communication, Daniel Bwala, has predicted that the opposition coalition would have troubles and collapse before the 2027 elections.

According to him, a conflict of interest would tear the coalition apart in the next six months.

Bwala brushed off the chances that the coalition would present any major threat to the second-term ambition of President Tinubu, stating that they would rather make things easier for Tinubu in 2027.

He submitted that the coalition would encounter challenges once the time comes to pick a presidential candidate because many politicians in the movement have their sights on the 2027 presidency.

“All this fantasy of coalition, we all know that once there is a phenomenon like that we are going to have a good two to three weeks of all these romanticizing of ‘we have ideas, we can do this’.

“But one of them, his name is Datti (Baba-Ahmed) already sensed the danger that is ahead for them and he said that the problem of theis coalition will be who will be the president because right now, I’m quoting him, ‘everybody wants to be the president’.

“After one month when they sit down, I am telling you on my own honour, in the next six months, that coalition thing will not even be a conversation, they will scatter,” Bwala stated during an interview with Channels Television on Monday.
