BREAKING: Obi, Kwankwaso Quit ADC, Set To Join NDC Today Ahead of 2027

66

Former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi and ADC chieftain Rabiu Kwankwaso are expected to formally join the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, today, Sunday, in what signals a major shift ahead of the 2027 elections.

Despite earlier denials from both camps, an invitation sent to journalists via the NDC Media WhatsApp group confirms that the defection will be announced at 2:00 pm in Abuja.

The duo will be received by NDC National Leader and former Bayelsa State Governor Henry Seriake Dickson, National Chairman Moses Cleopas, and members of the National Working Committee.

Party leaders have described the development as evidence of a “growing wave of confidence in the NDC nationwide.”
