Ace Nigerian Comedian, Owen Osemwengie, also known as Owen G is set to take Nigeria’s comedy to the international stage with the debut of the Toronto and Brampton comedy show schedule to take place in Toronto Canada.

A statement by the ace comedian states that the event is scheduled for between 12 and 13 September, 2025 and will provide a global platform for Nigerian and African comedic talents.

Part of the statement reads: “The Toronto International Nollywood Film Festival (TINFF) and Brampton International Nollywood Film Festival (BINFF) have partnered with Owen Gee Entertainment to launch The International Comedy Arts Film Festival (TICAFF). Debuting in Toronto and Brampton Canada on September 12-13, 2025, TICAFF will celebrate Nigerian, African, and Canadian comedy through screenings, performances, workshops, award ceremonies and networking events.”

“This collaboration strengthens ties between the Canadian and Nigerian entertainment industries, providing a global platform for Nigerian and African comedic talent.
