President Muhammadu Buhari says he cannot wait to go home after eight years of leading the country.
The President stated this at the 9th and final Sallah homage held at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The President, who described himself as being lucky to have served Nigeria as Governor, Minister, Head of State, and President, thanked residents of Abuja for tolerating him in the last seven and half years.
The President said he deliberately arranged to be as far away as possible from Abuja, saying that he has got what he sought for, and will therefore quietly retire to his home town in Daura, Katsina state.
