Four Dead, Two Hospitalized In Taraba After Consuming Fish

Four persons have been feared dead and two others hospitalised after consuming fish suspected to be poisonous in Taraba state.

Chairman of Takum Local Council, John Ali, who confirmed the incident to newsmen said the tragic incident occured in the Kashimbila ward of Takum Local Council of the state

The council boss also stated that the victims, all herders, discovered and cooked the toxic fish near the Kashimbila Multi-Purpose Dam and assured that a team of investigators are on their way to the affected community to assess the situation and offer support.
