Obi, Kwankwaso Meet NDC Leader Dickson In Abuja

62

Former Anambra Governor Peter Obi and former Kano Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso arrived at the Abuja residence of Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, leader Senator Henry Seriake Dickson on Sunday for a closed-door meeting.

The meeting comes hours after Obi announced his resignation from the African Democratic Congress, citing legal disputes and internal crises within the party.

Sources say Obi and Kwankwaso are with Dickson, the NDC’s national leader and former Bayelsa governor, to “perfect their final political movement” ahead of 2027. Details of the discussions have not yet been made public.
