342

President Bola Tinubu is currently in a meeting with ex-governors Nyesom Wike and Nasir El-Rufai at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, Abuja, Daily Trust reports.

According to the paper, Wike arrived at the State House around 1:40 pm, while El-Rufai entered the presidential wing of Aso Rock around 2 pm.

Both Wike and El-Rufai are ministerial nominees.

While Wike was screened and confirmed by the Senate, El-Rufai is yet to be cleared over an alleged pending security report.

There are speculations that efforts are being made to ensure that the Senate confirms Malam El-Rufai.
