The Plateau State Government has imposed a 48-hour curfew on Jos North Local Government Area, effective from 12 midnight, March 29, 2026, following a security incident that resulted in loss of lives and injuries.
In a statement, Commissioner for Information, Joy Ice Ramnap, condemned the “barbaric and unprovoked attack” and assured the public that measures are being taken to apprehend the perpetrators. Citizens are urged to remain calm, stay vigilant, and cooperate with security agencies.
The curfew will be in effect until April 1, 2026.
