Hundreds of protesters on Tuesday stormed the National Assembly Complex to show solidarity with the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, over allegation of Sexual harassment leveled against by the senator representing Kogi Central, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan.
At least three separate groups -all of them backing the leadership of Akpabio held protest simultaneously outside the entrance of the National Assembly, drumming support for the suspension order slammed on Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan from Kogi Central
for six months and accusing her of trying to blackmail the Senate after she was stripped of the chairmanship of the committee on Local content.
Recall that Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan had accused the senate President of sexual harassment earlier this month, a claim which the senate president had strongly denied.
