Former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has returned to the State High Court in Kaduna, facing charges filed by the Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offences Commission (ICPC). El-Rufai is set to appear before the court, followed by a hearing at the Federal High Court for his bail application.
The ICPC had arraigned El-Rufai last week on a 10-count charge bordering on alleged conversion and possession of public property, as well as money laundering. The court adjourned the bail hearing to March 31st.
El-Rufai’s court appearance comes after he returned from his mother’s burial. More updates as the story unfolds.
