Nigerian chef, Hilda Bassey Effiong, popularly known as Hilda Baci, has set a new Guinness World Record for the longest cooking hours.
Hilda who had earlier surpassed the previous record set by Lata Tondon, an Indian chef, in 2019, now has a total time record of 100 hours
Lata Tondon of India cooked for 87 hours, 45 minutes, and 00 seconds to break the previous title, however, Hilda set a new record at 8 p.m. on Monday, May 15, 2023.
Baci started her cooking marathon challenge on Friday at the Amore Gardens, Lekki, Lagos State.
