Arsenal are Premier League champions again.
Mikel Arteta’s side clinched the 2025/26 title on Tuesday after Manchester City’s 1-1 draw with Bournemouth left the Gunners with an unassailable lead with one game to spare. It marks Arsenal’s 14th top-flight English title and their first since the legendary “Invincibles” season of 2003/04.
The triumph ends a 22-year drought and caps a remarkable turnaround under Arteta, who has steadily rebuilt the club since taking charge in 2019. After finishing as runners-up in each of the last three campaigns, Arsenal finally went one better, combining attacking flair with defensive solidity to hold off City’s challenge.
“This means everything,” Arteta said after confirmation of the title. “The players, the staff, and especially the fans have waited a long time for this moment.”
The night also delivered a historic footnote for the club. Sixteen-year-old winger Max Dowman became the youngest player ever to win the Premier League, coming off the bench during the title run-in. His emergence has been one of the breakout stories of Arsenal’s campaign.
For supporters, the title represents more than just silverware. It’s the payoff for years of near-misses and a signal that Arsenal have re-established themselves as the dominant force in English football.
Arsenal will lift the trophy in their final game of the season at the Emirates Stadium.
