Why I Killed My Grandfather – Suspect

The police in Ogun state has arrested a man identified as Kusibe Adedoyin, for allegedly k!lling his 78-year-old grandfather, Akanbi Adedoyin, during a disagreement in Ilare-Ijesa, Osun State over a piece of farmland.

 

Residents of the community say the accused got into a heated argument with the deceased over the farmland and in the heat of moment, used a plank to hit the deceased on the head,leaving a deep cut on it. The deceased was immediately rushed to the local government health facility, where he received first aid. He however died two days later due to the complications from the injury inflicted on him by the suspect.

The suspect was immediately arrested and charged to court, He has now been remanded in a custodial centre.
