A shocking armed robbery incident occurred yesterday at Iya-Femi Restaurants in Minna, Niger State, leaving residents stunned and concerned about security in the area.

According to eyewitnesses, the victim, who had just withdrawn cash from the bank, was ambushed by the robbers as he approached the restaurant. In a brave attempt to resist, he engaged the attackers, managing to disarm one of them and inflicting injuries. Despite his efforts, the robbers escaped with a bag containing N10 million and his vehicle, abandoning their getaway car at the scene.

The brazen attack, which occurred in broad daylight, has sparked outrage and raised questions about security measures in the state capital. Witnesses reported that the incident lasted several minutes without any intervention from security personnel, adding to concerns about response times and effectiveness.
