The Federal Government has denied reports in some section of the media, especially the social media, that the Military Junta in Niger Republic has expelled the Nigerian envoy to the country, Mohammed Sani Usman.
A statement by Francisca K. OmayuliS, spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, urged Nigerians to disregard the information, saying that it was false and xapable of misleading members of the public.
Part of the statement reads: “The attention of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been drawn to news making the rounds on social media that the Nigerian Ambassador to the Republic of Niger, H. E.
