Former vice President Atiku Abubakar has disclosed his visit to former president Olusegun Obasanjo in his Ota residence was not about politics.
Atiku was accompanied to the meeting held at the Olusegun Obasanjo presidential library in Abeokuta, the OGUN state capital by former governors of Sokoto,Aminu Tambuwal,and Lyel Imoke of Cross River state
The former vice president while speaking to newsmen after the visit, said the meeting was a courtesy call to the former president and not about politics.
Many political observers and commentators had insinuated that the visit might not be unconnected with the present economic challenges and plots about the 2027 general election.
