Jackson, who spent five years in seminary training, reached out to Lais during her struggle with depression, offering prayers and support. Their friendship blossomed into love, leading Jackson to reevaluate his vocation and leave the seminary.
The couple started dating in April 2024, got engaged in October, and married in March. “It doesn’t seem like much, right? But let’s face it, we’re adults now and we know what we want in life,” Lais shared on Instagram, embracing their new chapter together .
