The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has apprehended a 45-year-old father, David Tersoo, in connection with alleged domestic assault on his wife and three children in the Mpape area of the FCT. According to SP Josephine Adeh, the command’s spokesperson, the police successfully rescued the victims and recovered a pump-action gun during the operation.
Details of the Incident
One of the children was found with visible bruises, while their mother was later traced and placed in protective custody with her children. The suspect, a contractor with a history of domestic abuse, had barricaded himself behind a bulletproof door while armed. After a tense standoff, officers secured his arrest without casualties.
