Ogechi received a mysterious call from an unknown number, urging her to rush home to attend to her injured child. Without revealing the nature of the incident, the caller insisted that her son needed her immediate attention. Panicked, Ogechi tried to contact her househelp, but she didn’t answer her calls.

Rushing home, Ogechi frantically searched for her son, but couldn’t find him anywhere. Her worst fears were confirmed when she discovered the well open and her child’s lifeless body floating face down in the water. “I saw his head, and his shoes were floating separately. That’s when I screamed for help,” she recounted, her voice trembling with anguish.
