Senegalese international, Kalidou Koulibaly, has taken a swipe at Chelsea after he completed a £20 million move to Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal.
The 32-year-old defender only played for the Blues for a season after joining from Napoli last summer.
The ex-Napoli star had a torrid time in the Premier League, which was reflected in his mere 23 appearances.
The 2021 Africa Cup of Nations winner, who spoke with Corriere dello Sport, said it was not a nice time at Stamford Bridge.
“I had no guarantees to get regular playing time [at Chelsea]. I was always professional, but I don’t like to sit on the bench doing nothing.
“I prefer a place where I am wanted and at the centre of the project and can be an example for young players.”
Chelsea signed the Senegalese for £34 million from Napoli last summer.
