Video: Protesters Hits Kano Streets With France Flag, Chanting Anti-War Songs

Protesters on Saturday, August 12, demonstrated in kano, Opposing war in Niger republic.

The protesters, mainly youths, were seen in the ancient city of kano state carrying the flag of France, with some descriptions: “We don’t war in the country”.

Niger Republic has been on the news in recent times, following the overthrow of the democratically-elected president, Mohamed Bazoum by the military led by General Tchiani, a former United nations Peace Keeper.

Recall that the ECOWAS, as a union, has mobilized its military force to enforce the return of the ousted president, however, hopes for a diplomatic resolution to the political conflict, have begun to fade.
