Tanker Explosion On Lagos-Ibadan Expressway Leaves Two Injured, Vehicles Burnt

Two people have been confirmed injured in a tanker explosion on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway today June 11.

The tanker laden with a petroleum product exploded after it fell at the NASFAT axis of the expressway.

The Public Relations Officer of the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency (TRACE), Babatunde Akinbiyi, who confirmed the incident, said the injured were taken to the Olabisi Onabanjo Teaching Hospital, Shagamu.

It was also gathered that the explosion affected six vehicles, including four trucks, one bus, and one Toyota Camry.
