408

The National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons, NAPTIP, has asked Nigerian singer Darlington Okoye, popularly known as “Speed Darlington”, to unfailingly appear at its national headquarters in Abuja on Friday, May 30th 2025, by 9am.

The agency says Speed Darlington has questions to answer regarding a viral Instagram live video where he claimed he had carnal knowledge of a 15-year-old girl in a hotel

NAPTIP, in a letter to the singer dated May 28th, noted that his actions, if substantiated, violate the trafficking in Persons Prohibition Enforcement and Administration Act 2015.

The agency asked the singer to respond to the requests to avoid further action from the agency.
