Rotary Club Ojodu Elects New Leaders, Martins Nnanna As President-Elect

Rotary Club of Ojodu is delighted to announce the successful election of its leadership team for the 2025-26 Rotary Year. The election, held on Sunday, December 15, 2024, at Protea by Marriott Hotel, Ikeja, was a momentous occasion, bringing together members and dignitaries in a spirit of unity and shared commitment to advancing Rotary’s mission of “Service Above Self.”

Rotarian Martins Osinachi Nnanna was elected as President-Elect, alongside a team of dynamic and visionary officers who will guide the club through the next Rotary Year. The newly elected officers include: Secretary Johnpaul Chigbo, Vice President Dr. Ime Okon, Treasurer Chiedozie Umejih, Sergeant-at-Arms Mfon Edet, Foundation Chair Austin Okhai, Membership Chair Efedi Jellily C, Service Projects Chair Chibuzor Onyilimba, Public Image Chair Ezenwa Opara, Youth Service Chair Dennis Nwabuisi, Training Chair Agborpasschal Onyejegbu, Polio/RFHD Chair Ijeoma Nwosu, and Club Administration Chair Treazer Njeri.

Rotarian Martins Osinachi Nnanna, the incoming President, is a distinguished leader and a Paul Harris Fellow (PHF) with an exemplary record in both professional and Rotary engagements. A member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Martins serves as the CEO, Managing Director, and Chairman of Cumbiaford Nigeria Limited and the MacAnthony Nnanna Foundation, a philanthropic organization that has received multiple accolades for its contributions to societal development.

Martins’ academic journey began at Queen of Peace Catholic Primary School, Oke Bola, Ibadan, where he graduated with distinction, followed by his secondary education at Celestial Church of Christ Secondary School, Joyce B, Ibadan. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and a second degree in Transport Studies and Management from Olabisi Olabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State. Currently serving as the Club Secretary of the Rotary Club of Ojodu, Martins brings a wealth of experience, dedication, and a commitment to driving impactful projects that align with Rotary’s areas of focus.

The Rotary Club of Ojodu’s new leadership team embodies a commitment to excellence and service, aiming to build on the club’s legacy of transformative initiatives. The team will focus on addressing community needs, fostering fellowship, and implementing projects that advance education, health, environmental sustainability, and economic development.

Established in 2002 as a provisional club and officially chartered on March 8, 2005, with 26 members, the club has grown exponentially over the years with utmost dedication to uplifting communities within District 9111 and beyond, creating meaningful partnerships, and inspiring positive change through impactful service.
