Cristiano Ronaldo has completed his mega-money move to Al-Nassr, with the deal reportedly containing a clause that will see the superstar become a Saudi Arabia ambassador
The superstar attacker completed his move to the Saudi Pro League side on Friday night, ahead of the January transfer window. He will earn a staggering 200 million Euros per year through his basic salary, bonuses and image rights.
According to Marca, a clause in his new contract will see Ronaldo also become an ambassador for the Saudi bid for the 2030 World Cup. The Middle Eastern country is understood to be lining up a joint bid with Egypt and Greece for the right to host the tournament in six years.
The move means Ronaldo will join Messi who already has a contract with the Saudis to be their ambassador as well
The Paris Saint-Germain superstar is thought to earn more than 25 million Euro per year in return for him promoting the tourism to the country. He Will be ambassor for the next 6 years. Messi has already been paraded by the Saudi state during a visit in May.
If you consider that Messi is paid 25 Million euro without playing in Saudi league or selling his image rights, then the world cup winner has a better deal in the Kingdom than Ronaldo.
