349

Gunmen have stormed Ezzangbo community in Ebonyi State, the hometown of Biafra agitator, Simon Ekpa, to enforce the sit-at-home order.

We gathered that the hoodlums, who operated in a Sienna bus and numbering up to eight, burnt three vehicles, five motorcycles, and other valuable items.

It was learned that the hoodlums also chased away petty traders and market women who had displayed their goods for sale, chanting, “No more markets in Igbo land.”

The Ebonyi State Police Command has confirmed the incident, stating that normalcy has returned to the community after the attack.
