Barr. Donatus Nwabueze Okeke, a distinguished legal luminary, entrepreneur, and philanthropist, has officially declared his candidacy for the Anambra South Senatorial seat under the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA). With a proven track record of excellence in law, business, and community development, Barr. Okeke brings a wealth of experience, vision, and unwavering commitment to the service of his people.
Barr. Okeke’s ambition is driven by the need for effective, people-driven representation that will propel Anambra South to a zone of growth, opportunity, and national relevance. His comprehensive manifesto focuses on promoting financial support for students, ICT capacity development, and educational infrastructure, as well as fostering skills acquisition, entrepreneurship, and access to poverty alleviation programs. He also aims to support farmers with seedlings, equipment, and access to federal/state agricultural schemes, strengthen healthcare institutions, and attract investments to facilitate small-scale industries.
As a graduate of the University of Lagos and the University of London, Barr. Okeke holds multiple degrees in Law, including an LLM in Commercial & Corporate Law and a Master’s in International Law & Diplomacy. He is the Principal Partner of Justice League Chambers and Executive Chairman of Duna Lin Investment Limited, demonstrating exceptional leadership in business and legal consultancy. Through his philanthropic efforts, Barr. Okeke has touched the lives of many in Anambra South, providing support and empowerment to the less privileged and inspiring the next generation of leaders.

The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has scheduled the primary election for the Anambra South Senatorial District to hold on July 21st, 2025. As the party awaits the nomination of a consensus candidate, APGA has announced a provisional timetable for the conduct of primary elections for various National and State Assembly seats.
