Mr. Obi who has over a decade of experience in media, communication, and strategic marketing, brings unparalleled expertise and innovation to his role as Chief Operating Officer at lagoscityreporters.com, one of Nigeria’s influential online news platforms.

Mr. Obi holds a Diploma in Theatre Arts from the University of Ibadan, a Bachelor’s in Mass Communication, and a Master’s in Communication Studies with distinction from Lagos State University (LASU).

He has progressed to an advanced stage in his pursuit of a Ph.D. at LASU, focusing on rhetorical strategies in Nigerian political advertising.

Mr. Obi has had a stint with The Business Magazine and Next Magazine as Production Editor. His career highlights include leadership roles such as Senior Marketing Manager at Sweet Sensation and Head of Marketing at Munchies Foods. He also led strategic communication campaigns as Team Lead at NIFI Lagos and provided consultancy services to organizations such as Achieving Greatness Limited, Orientseed IBMC, Clearview Health. and Kafetaria Services, Abuja.

An advocate for knowledge-sharing, Mr. Obi has contributed to the academia as an adjunct lecturer and facilitator, teaching advertising, media production, and artificial intelligence in film.

He is a member of the Association of Communication Scholars and Professionals of Nigeria (ACSPN) and remains committed to promoting public discourse and media development in Nigeria.
