Nigeria’s COVID-19 Infections Reach 150,246 As 877 New Cases Were Recorded

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Thursday, Fenruary 18, 2021 said that the country recorded 877 new cases of covid-19 as it also revealed that it reached a higher number of 150,246 cases.

The data released by NCDC shows that Lagos had 273 new cases, while Kwara recorded 87 and Rivers State 58.

Akwa Ibom and Ebonyi shared the same record of 47 news cases, Edo and Ogun 46, Abia, Imo and Kano 34.

Meanwhile, Oyo had a record of 26, Osun 22, Gombe 20, Ekiti 19, Cross River and FCT 15, Plateau 11 Enugu 9.

Others include Kebbi 8, Borno 7, Niger 6, Bayelsa 5, Nasarawa 4, Kwara 2, Katsina and Sokoto 1.

In the record made available, 16 deaths were recorded, leaving the number of deceased at 1803.
