Nigeria Records 86 New Cases, No Deaths As Covid-19 Infection Hits 161,737


Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) Confirmed on Sunday, March, 21, 2021 that the  cases of Covid-19 have increased to 161,737 as 86 new cases and no deaths were recorded in the country.

in its daily update on Coronavirus, the centre said 147,899 cases had been discharged and 2,030 deaths had been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory of the country.

According to the centre, the new cases are reported from 8 states, with FCT having the highest with 33 new cases.

In further report from NCDC, Lagos had 28, Ondo-11, Kano-7, Akwa Ibom-3, Rivers-3, Kaduna-1.

Meanwhile, a multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at Level 3, continues to coordinate the national response activities.
