My Wife Was My Pillar Of Strength And Source Of Success – Ntisong Tells Okon People

His Imperial Majesty, Ntisong(Dr) E. U.Ekidem has describe his late wife,Atai Obongawan Deaconess(Mrs) Grace Ekidem as his pillar of strength and source of success.
Ntisong Ibibio made the statement on Saturday,6th November, 2021 at his palace in Uyo when he received a delegation from Okon community in Eket LGA, who came to mourn with him over the death of the wife.
The delegation from Okon community was led by a prominent son of the clan,who is a retired permanent Secretary in the state and a proprietor of Monef Schools, Dr. Fabian Essiet.
Speaking on behalf of the delegation during the visit, Dr. Essiet sympathised with Ntisong Ekidem over the death of the wife whom he described as a virtuous woman who lived a life Worthy of emulation, he recounted how late Obongawan was always supportive of her husband and prayed God to grant Ntisong Ibibio and the larger family the fortitude to bear the loss.
Ntisong Ekidem in his response said he still has not come to terms with the fact that the wife is death. Ntisong recalled how the late wife has always been supportive right from his days as maintenance engineer in Calcemco cement, Calabar.
Ntisong Ekidem who is also the village head of Ikot Okudom in Okon clan,Eket LGA thanked the delegation from Okon  Clan for the show of love  during the trying period of his family and prayed God to bless them.
The delegation from Okon had in attendance Dr. Fabian Essiet, the representative of the clan head,Chief Monday, former Chairman of Eket,Barr. Emmanuel Udo,Hon. Ekanem Willie ,Lady Jane Akpan,Lady Sylvia Ekpo,Barr. Odudu Ekaete,Chief Victor Ubokudom,Group Captain E.M. Eno,Comrade Daniel Essien,Udeme Essien and many others.
Late Atai Obongawan Deaconess ( Mrs) will be buried on Saturday,13th November, 2021 at Quo Iboe primary school, okon by 11 am.
