Suspected armed bandits have abducted many persons after invading Gbagyi Village on the outskirts of Kaduna State on Monday evening, January 11.
This was made known in a post by Senator Shehu Sani, who formerly represented Kaduna Central at the National Assembly.
He wrote: “Bandits stormed the Gbagyi villa community in the outskirts of Kaduna yesternight and kidnapped a number of people.
Locals said the response of soldiers helped in preventing mass abduction. This is the plight of our people everyday.”
This comes barely a week after the Federal government declared bandits as terrorists.
