Founder of JUST & CHRIS Foundation, Mrs Chioma Teresa Nwaubani during the Easter holidays felicitated with Widows and Vulnerable Women through an outreach programme.

In a statement issued by the foundation, the outreach programme was put together to empower and care for the women on Easter Monday in Arobaba Idimu Road in Alimosho Area of Lagos State.

According to the founder, she says the foundation which is founded on the bases of passion and love, was established in memory of her late mother, Justina Chinwe Obasi.

The statement reads in part: “Founded on the premise of passion and love for the needy, the Foundation is in memory of her late mother Justina Chinwe Obasi and her late brother Christopher Chukwuemeka Obasi. It is geared with the vision of caring for the needy in society especially, widows, vulnerable women, needy children and orphans.”

“Mrs Nwaubani believes that the government cannot meet the needs of the needy alone. She urges well meaning individuals and groups to rise up and show compassion to those who are in need as this will make the society a better place.” The statement also said.

“The widows were given WORD of Exaltation and taken through a prayer session as the Visioneer believes only GOD can comfort the women and effectively meet their needs.”

“Gift packs including food items, clothing, shoes and books as well as cash gifts were given to the women.” The statement also said.

Some of the women were given basic medical checks, and health talks in a bid to maintain optimal health.

Based in the United States of America, the Foundation is very passionate about impacting the lives of needy Nigerians.

The Foundation looks forward to training and re training the women through skills acquisition, access to soft loans and business empowerment in the nearest future
