I Support Ayu’s Suspension – Wike

148

Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike has said he supports the suspension of the chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Iyorcha Ayu from the party.

He disclosed this on Monday in a Channels Television interview.

Wike said Ayu’s Suspension was because members are angry that the party lost woefully during the February 25 and March 18 general elections

According to him, the people rejected PDP because Ayu refused to resign from the party’s chairmanship position.

The governor of Rivers state added that Ayu traded PDP’s victory at the polls for his interest.

“It is only in this country that someone who has lost woefully during the general elections still wants to occupy the position of Chairmanship in PDP.
