How AIT Founder Dokpesi Died – AIT

More details have emerged how the founder and Chief Executive of Africa Independent Television, Raymond Dokpesi died.

According to a statement by the company’s management signed by the Group’s Managing Director, GMD, Tony Akiotu, the Edo-state born media mogul, ” Fell off during his thread mill during his routine gym exercise” and rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The statement also explained that he had been hill in the last few weeks but was on his way to a full recovery.

Dokpesi, pioneered the business of media broadcasting in 1994 when he set up Raypower FM on the frequency band of 100.5 FM and Africa Independent Television, AIT, the television arm of his media conglomerate in 1996.
