Enyimba have officially unveiled Yemi Olanrewaju as their permanent head coach ahead of the forthcoming 2024-2025 NPFL season.

Olanrewaju initially served as an interim coach in May, taking over after Finidi George departed to manage the Super Eagles. He declined an opportunity to work with Finidi at Rivers United.

Olanrewaju originally joined Enyimba as an assistant coach in 2022 and played a significant role in the club’s title victory in the 2022-2023 season.

Akwa United Impress Babaganaru

Akwa United’s head coach, Mohammed Babaganaru, expressed satisfaction with his team’s performance in a recent friendly against Abia Warriors. The match ended in a 1-1 draw.
