Democracy At Stake: The Biden-Obi-Trump-Atiku Connection, Chris Otaigbe

Between two very important nations of the world, the FATE of DEMOCRACY hangs in the BALANCE.
One is the most powerful, while the other is the most populous BLACK nation on the planet.
The connection is the election held in both countries.
In America, Joe Biden unseated an incumbent Donald Trump; while in Nigeria, Peter Obi allegedly defeated an incumbent ruling Party Presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The difference; while Trump continues to REJECT the results of the free and fair election that brought in Biden, Tinubu in collusion with the electoral umpire, INEC, are WIDELY ALLEGED to have manipulated the results of the election that would have otherwise, given Obi the victory.
The similarities, in this context, RESIDE in the characters of the persona involved in both elections…
While Obi and Biden, are the HUMBLE, more RELATABLE personalities; with little or NO CRIMINAL records, Trump and Tinubu are alleged to have a BACKLOG of criminal allegations.
Consequential similarities of both electoral events are already afoot.
While Trump and his band of election-deniers tried to CONCOCT a coup on January 6, 2020, Tinubu and his choir are planning a major DEFENSE of a mandate many, the world over, KNOW is not duly DESERVED.
While the US is still STRUGGLING to arrest the divisive narrative Trump Republican mob has infected the American society with, Nigeria is NERVOUSLY trying to navigate its ship of State; along the mines of the ethnocentric divisive sentiments, Tinubu’s army of loyalists have planted on the path to a post election Nigeria.
Yet, these two nations are essential to the maintenance and advancement of a new world order that is gradually creeping in on us all.
In the interdependent world that we operate today, it has become incumbent on the strong to HELP the weak; in this battle to retain, regain and sustain the MORAL SANITY of the two nations.
The peoples of these two great nations would have to DECIDE; whether they want IMMORALITY to become the COMPASS that navigates the VALUES that DEFINE their HUMANITY; or, pursue MORALITY; as the NATURALLY and UNIVERSALLY acceptable means of human conduct in any society; under God.
They would need to choose whether they love their society to be led by a Tax-Evading known CON ARTIST; that is Trump; or, they prefer one; whose origin of birth and educational background are either UNCERTAIN or QUESTIONABLE; let alone the criminal indictment and allegations hanging over his name; as we have; with Tinubu.
While Joe Biden was voted into office as the DULY elected President of the United States if America, Bola Tinubu’s election as president-elect, is EVIDENTLY not PURE.
While the process that brought in Biden, FOLLOWED all known CONSTITUTIONAL electoral processes; the one that announced Tinubu are alleged to have VIOLATED virtually all known Laws; electoral and constitutional.
As the Apostle of global democracy, the onus is now on the US and its allies to INTERVENE in the Nigerian situation; in order to SAVE what is left of the ideology.
While the world wait upon the Nigerian judiciary to RISE up to the occasion and DELIVER JUSTICE instead of mere judgement, it should be NOTED that if INJUSTICE becomes the outcome of the highly anticipated post election adjudication, the world should be sure that the VERY END of democracy may ACTUALLY begin with Nigeria.
