The Nigeria Centre for Diseases Control (NCDC) said that the country recorded 634 new cases of COVID-19 infections.
In Its daily update on Thursday, February 25, the centre said Lagos recorded the highest number of infected cases, which is, 259. Osun followed suit with a record of 45, and then Edo, which had 38 infected number of people.
Ogun accounted for 35, while Abuja 33, leaving Anambra with an infected number of 26.
Others include; Imo and Ondo 24, Akwa Ibom and Plateau 20, Abia and Kaduna 19, Ebonyi 17, Borno and Rivers 10, Kano 9, Delta 8, Kebbi 7, Nasarawa 4, Oyo 3, Enugu and Ekiti 2.
NCDC through this record showed that the country has summed up to a total number of 154,476 confirmed cases.
However, 315 were discharged, summing the total number of discharged cases to be 131,699.
“Our discharges today include 236 community recoveries in Lagos State and 79 community recoveries in Imo State managed in line with guidelines,” NCDC said.
Stating the death record, 6 persons were said to have lost their lives from the COVID-19 complications.
