Covid-19: Nigeria’s Cases Hit 151,553 As Deaths Now 1,831

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), said that the country’s total number of covid-19 cases increased to 151,5538, as 645 new infections were reported on Saturday.

The centre also said that 505 patients recovered and had been discharged from various isolation centres, adding that 18 fatalities were recorded.

A rundown of the new figure shows that” Lagos-282, Ogun-72, FCT-50, Kaduna-33, Osun-24, Imo-23, Abia-21, Borno-18, Oyo-17, Edo-15, Nasarawa-15, Taraba-14, Ekiti-11, Ondo-11, Plateau-11, Kano-10, Rivers-7, Delta-5, Bauchi-3 and Jigawa-3.

As of the 20th of February 2021, a total of 1,831 persons have lost their lives to the virus in Nigeria, while 128,005 persons recovered.
