It was stated that he never mentioned the name of the minister of State for Defence. The suspect has been seen in photographs with top officials of the Federal Government including the minister of defence. A source alleged that some of these important politicians the suspect mentioned are working assiduously to establish a phantom nexus between the suspect and the minister of State for defence to achieve a sinister political motive.

In response to these allegations, officials like the Minister of State for Defense, Dr. Bello Matawalle, have publicly denied any involvement, emphasizing their commitment to national security and public service.
