Call For Papers Now Open For 3rd Conference Of Nigeria Trade Associations

The organizing committee for the 3rd edition of the foremost Conference of Nigeria Trade Associations is delighted to announce the Call for Papers. Paper submission starts Monday 15th February, 2021. The event will take place in Lagos at LCCI with various modes of attendance; by virtual, live-stream and physical attendance on 5th May, 2021.

The Call for Papers presents an opportunity for trade association leaders across industry, captains of industries and business regulators worldwide to be part of the one-day conference program and to submit a Call for Paper abstract to showcase their expertise, concerns and recommendations on the theme of the conference and speak in front of a global audience. Theme for the year is: Governance and Economic Prosperity in a Pandemic World.

CONiTA coming under the supervision of a consortium of organizations including People Planet & Profit Media and the Lagos State Ministry of  Wealth Creation and Employment have received sponsorship support in the past from private sector organizations and looking up for more support in this year’s edition. CONiTA 2021 continues to thrive with participants having remained the largest gathering of diverse trade associations / informal entrepreneurs in Africa advancing inclusive economic growth towards achieving sustainable development.

The conference focuses on sustainability for trade associations, chambers of commerce and sustainable business in Nigeria with the aim to drive honest conversation and generate dialogue around critical issues. Conversation are weaved around some of the changes we see in today’s governance and leadership in times of pandemic such as challenging economic times, volatile gruesome events, deteriorating communities, a growing social divide and rapid-changing technology en-capsule in “the new normal”. Discovering strategies to subdue these risks will be a huge factor for business survival as we strove through the 21st century. This year’s event already has recorded confirmation of exceptional participation by trade and industry leaders as keynote speakers.  The submission deadline is Friday April 16, 2021.

According to the head of organizing Committee, O.N. Akemu; the event is expected to welcome representatives of various trade association leaders, and industry including policy makers, business leaders, decision makers, NGOs and media.
