BREAKING: Video: Lagos Announces 50% Reduction In All State-Owned Transports

The Lagos state government on Wednesday, February 8th, announced a 50% reduction in all state-owned transport system.

The state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu made this announcement while briefing the media at his office in Alausa.

The governor said it was part of palliative measures being put in place to cushion the effect of the current fuel crisis in the country on the masses and also to would take effect from Thursday, February 9th/.

“The state-owned transport sector affected are Buses, Taxis, Ferries staring from tomorrow for the next one week” he said

Also, food basket spots to be sited in strategic locations across the state for the vulnerable.
