The Confederation of Africa Football, CAF, has awarded the Nigerian Super Eagles three points in the botched Nation’s cup qualifier against Libya.

The match which was scheduled for October 15th, was abandoned after ill-treatment by the Libyan FA on the Super Eagles at the Libyan airport for over 15 hours.

In a statement by the continental ruling body, CAF, it said the Libyan football authority was found guilty after it breached article 31 of the CAF cup of nations regulations as well as article 82 and 151 of the CAF disciplinary code.

Below is the statement of the CAF.
