The Police Command in Anambra State has made a firm commitment to apprehend the perpetrators responsible for the tragic demise of the Nanka Ward Chairman of the Young Progressive Party (YPP) in Orumba South Local Government Area.

In a statement on Tuesday, the state Police Commissioner, CP Aderemi Adeoye, expressed his strong disapproval of the heinous act; the CP denounced the killers as individuals lacking courage, as they have mercilessly taken away innocent lives.

He assured that justice will prevail and the culprits will face the consequences of their actions.

“They might think that they have committed a perfect crime and that they would get away with it but they delude themselves,” Adeoye said, assuring that the police were already working on vital clues to unmask the perpetrators.
