Nigerian singer Kizz Daniel has denied reports that a court ordered the freezing of his personal and business bank accounts over a contractual dispute. According to his management team, the claims are false and misleading, aimed at tarnishing his reputation.
The Controversy
The controversy stems from a 2022 concert in Berlin, where promoters accused Kizz Daniel of failing to honor a show despite receiving a partial payment. However, Kizz Daniel’s team argues that the promoter, Kejuro Media & Entertainment, failed to meet its obligations, including securing visas and flights for the singer and his team, leading to the event’s cancellation.
Kizz Daniel’s Response
In a statement released on September 25, 2025, Kizz Daniel’s management team emphasized that no court has ordered the freezing of his accounts or demanded payment of over €200,000 in damages. They vowed to take legal action against those spreading the false reports, stressing that Kizz Daniel remains focused on his music and upcoming shows.
Previous Incident
This isn’t the first time Kizz Daniel has faced controversy over show cancellations. In 2022, he was briefly arrested in Tanzania after missing a scheduled performance. His management team maintains that Kizz Daniel is a professional who upholds his contractual obligations and makes sacrifices to ensure his fans enjoy his craft.
