Efedi Launches Foundation For Women, Children

In commemoration of his 40th birthday, distinguished business leader and humanitarian, Amb. (Sir) Efedi Jellily Chukwuhumeyan, has officially launched the Jellily Efedi Care Foundation (JEC Foundation), a charitable and philanthropic organization committed to improving the well-being of underprivileged women and children in society. The foundation aims to provide sustainable welfare programs, access to quality education, and opportunities for economic empowerment to the downtrodden.

Amb. Jellily Efedi, a native of Ute-Okpu Kingdom in Ika North-East, Delta State, Nigeria, is a seasoned marketing and management professional with an impressive academic and professional background. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, and has acquired several professional certifications both locally and internationally. He is a Fellow of the National Institute of Marketing, Nigeria (FNIMN) and the Institute of Management Consultants (FIMC), among other prestigious institutions. He also holds a Mini-MBA from Tekedia Institute, Boston, USA, and is a Green Belt holder in Lean Six Sigma Management from Lagos Business School.

Currently serving as the Head of Corporate Marketing & Export Marketing Manager at Soulmate Industries Limited, Amb. Efedi has played a pivotal role in the corporate sales and export strategies of one of Africa’s leading cosmetics industries. In addition to his corporate engagements, he is the CEO of Jelluminous Consult, a marketing and management consulting firm, as well as Jelluminous Designs and Jelluminous Entertainment, demonstrating his passion for business and creativity.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Amb. Efedi is a devoted Catholic and a community leader. He has served as the Immediate Past Chairman of the Catholic Men Organization (CMO) at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary, Ogba, Ikeja, and is a Second-Degree member of the prestigious Order of the Knights of St. Mulumba. Additionally, he holds the traditional title of Akaeze Ekwu-Eme of Ndi-Igbo in Ikeja Land.
His passion for humanitarian service is evident through his active role in Rotary International, where he has served as the President of the Rotary Club of Ojodu and currently holds the position of Assistant Governor in Rotary District 9110 {9111}, Nigeria. His commitment to public service extends to his voluntary contributions to the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), where he serves as the Unit Coordinator for Unit 66 – Rotary Ojodu, Lagos State Sector.

The launch of the JEC Foundation underscores Amb. Efedi’s unwavering dedication to uplifting the less privileged, especially women and children, through targeted programs in healthcare, education, and economic empowerment. With a mission to foster social change and alleviate poverty, the foundation will provide scholarships, skill acquisition programs, and essential relief materials to those in need.
Speaking at the launch event, Amb.
