This remarkable achievement underscores the club’s dedication to expanding its reach, fostering service-oriented initiatives, and reinforcing the community-oriented spirit that is central to Rotary’s mission.

The award was presented on behalf of District Governor Dr. Oluwole Kukoyi by Rotarian Yinka Adeosun, District 9111 Chairman of the Awards and Recognition Committee, who commended the Rotary Club of Ojodu for setting an outstanding example in membership growth, engagement, and commitment. This award not only recognizes the hard work and dedication of the Ojodu club’s leadership and members but also highlights the club’s success in inspiring new members to join Rotary and participate in its mission of “Service Above Self.”

The Club President, Rotarian Ikpunuekhai Osi-Evans (PHF), expressed deep gratitude for the recognition and attributed this success to the team spirit and collaborative efforts of all club members. “Our club’s growth reflects our members’ dedication to Rotary’s core values and our commitment to making a tangible difference in the lives of people in our community,” said Rotarian Osi-Evans. He also extended special thanks to the Club’s Membership Committee, chaired by Assistant Governor Jelilly Efedi, for their outstanding work and strategic efforts that contributed significantly to the club’s success.

District 9111, which encompasses clubs in Lagos and Ogun, is known for its robust commitment to Rotary’s areas of focus, including peace and conflict resolution, disease prevention, water and sanitation, maternal and child health, and more. Rotary Club of Ojodu’s outstanding growth reflects its determination to bolster these efforts and broaden the scope of its impact.

The Club’s success is a testament to the power of teamwork, dedication, and a shared vision for a better community. With this award, the club is inspired to pursue new projects, foster lasting partnerships, and continue its journey of service to humanity with renewed vigor.
