President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Wednesday met with the President of the Nigerian Senate, Godswill Akpabio, and other dignitaries.
Details of the meeting have not been made known as at the time of filing in this report.
Recall that the Senate had ealier today screened and confirmed Olanipekun Olukoyede as the new chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The Upper legislative chambers also screened and confirmed Muhammad Hammajoda as the Secretary of the anti-graft commission.
Whike Olukoyede’s appointment is for a renewable term of four years in the first instance, Hammajoda will serve as the Secretary of the EFCC for a renewable term of five years in the first instance.
