President Bola Tinubu attended the Eid Prayers on Wednesday alongside Muslim faithfuls at Obalende Eid Prayer Ground in Dodan Barracks, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Upon arrival, he was warmly received by Chief Imam Suliman Abuo-Nolla, who led the congregation in the special prayers for Eid.
This event follows President Tinubu’s recent return from his official trips to Paris and London, arriving back in the country on Tuesday.
Prior to his departure, it was announced that President Tinubu would take part in the Eid prayers at the Obalende Muslim Prayer Ground, situated within the historic Dodan Barracks—once the seat of the Nigerian government.
While the official Sallah holiday is set to conclude on Thursday, June 29, there are indications that President Tinubu may extend his stay in Lagos until the following week, possibly departing on Sunday or Monday, before returning to the nation’s capital, Abuja.
