Make Laws For Nation’s Greatness – APC Chieftain, Okelekwe Urges New Speaker, Deputy

A Chieftain of the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC, Chief Kodilichukwu Okelekwe has congratulated the newly elected and deputy speakers of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas and Bar. Benjamin Kalu respectively.

Okelekwe, a contestant in the Anambra South Senatorial election in 2023, urged the newly elected principal officers to see their elections as calls to service and an opportunity to make Laws that would lead the country to greatness.

In a statement made available to lagoscityreporters.com, the APC Chieftain also reminded them that the country needed a change and which could be possible through people-centred laws.

Part of the statement reads: “On behalf of myself, my family and UBOM CAMPAIGN ORGANIZATION, Please acept our sincere and deepest congratulations on your elevation to the position of moderators of the true grassroots Representatives of the people. There are no doubts that you are fully qualified and suited for this exalted position.”

“You have the opportunity and responsibility of moderating the Representatives and leading them to make laws that lead our country into its long awaited greatness. You have a rare opportunity to redirect our government into plans that will ensure the commonweal.”

“Our country is crying out for a new society of progress, growth and development. They desire and demand a change to new ways of transparency, accountability and justice.”

“You are well positioned to give them what they want. Please do it for the sake and greater good of our country. We know you are well qualified and capable of doing this for our country.” He said.
